Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passes away at 98 after prolonged illness

New Delhi, 7 July (Fast Mail News) - Veteran film actor Dilip Kumar passed away. 98-year-old Dilip Kumar breathed his last at around 7.30 am on Wednesday.

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who had been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Mumbai's PD Hinduja Hospital, passed away at the age of 98 today. The 98-year-old screen icon was admitted in suburban Khar-based Hinduja Hospital, a non-Covid-19 facility, last week to address age-related "medical issues" days after being discharged from the same hospital.

The information was givena by his family friend Faizal Farooqui in a tweet.he said," It is with a very heavy heart that Dilip sahib is no more with us".

Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital on June 29 due to shortness of breath. There is a wave of mourning in Bollywood as soon as the news of his death is received.

Dilip Kumar became famous for his special style of acting and dialogue delivery. Dilip Kumar's real name was Muhammad Yusuf Khan born on 11 December 1922. He made his acting debut in 1944 with the film Jwar Bhata. In his acting journey of nearly five decades, Dilip Kumar acted in more than 65 films and gave many unmatched films. In which films like Andaz, Aan, Daag, Devdas, Azad, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga-Jamuna, Ram and Shyam are included.
