Farm laws are for the benefit of farmers; Opposition misleading farmers

Union women and Child development Minister Smriti Irani has said that the farm laws are for the benefit of farmers and opposition is playing politics and misleading farmers on the issue.


She was speaking at a large gathering of farmers in Meerut District of Uttar Pradesh today. The Minister said that the central government has launched many schemes for the benefit of farmers.


She said that those who tasted defeat in elections are now using farmers for their political gain.


Union Minister of state Dr Sanjiv Balyan, former minister Satyapal Singh and Many MPs also attended the function. Farmers from western part of the state attended the gathering.


The Bhartiya Janata party is organising farmers conclaves across the state to clear the misconception regarding the recent farm laws and to highlight the historic reforms introduced by the Central government in the agriculture sector.


Another Union Minister Krishna Pal Singh Gurjar also addressed a large farmer gathering in Agra district today and explained the farmers the benefits of recent farm laws. He said that



Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government is working for the welfare of farmers.
